About us

At Enterprise IT Security (EITS), we are on a mission to secure the IT journey for the Volvo Group. We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs drive the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic directions, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance, and security.

With Enterprise IT Security, you will be part of Group Digital & IT (Group Function). A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work passionately, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise IT Security works closely with Group Security, Infrastructure management and security functions within TDs, BAs, and GFs. Together we work to build a security posture that is best in class.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Security Architect to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is to establish and enhance the security posture of our Group's digital technology landscape (infrastructure and application) and stakeholders through the development of comprehensive reference architecture, frameworks, blueprints, architecture standards, logical design patterns and guidelines. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, particularly those within the enterprise architecture, to ensure alignment with business objectives and oversee the implementation of the reference architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain a holistic and robust strategic enterprise security architecture framework across IT and OT environments that aligns with the Group's business goals and objectives, technology landscape, and regulatory requirements
  • Establish and document security reference architectures, technology security standards, logical patterns, and best practices to ensure security is embedded within Group’s technology systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including enterprise architects, Group Functions, infrastructure management teams, compliance, and risk management, to instill and integrate security architecture within Group’s technology landscape
  • Develop security architectural frameworks and blueprints that guide the design, development, and implementation of secure infrastructure, encompassing data protection, authentication, authorization, encryption, and allied security measures
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and emerging technologies in IT and OT security, evaluating their relevance and potential integration into the enterprise architecture
  • Provide training sessions and workshops to enhance the security awareness and knowledge of development teams, fostering a security-conscious culture
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security reference architecture, providing consultation and guidance to stakeholders, including senior management, regarding security landscape strategies, risks, and benefits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a security architect or in a similar role, with a focus on enterprise-level security solutions and reference architecture
  • Strong knowledge of security architectural frameworks (TOGAF and SABSA)
  • Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects and other stakeholders to align security initiatives with business goals and objectives
  • Proficiency in creating enterprise security reference architectures, frameworks, and architecture blueprints
  • Familiarity with relevant security standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capability to anticipate and address architectural challenges
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CCSP are a plus

If you are a seasoned security architect with a passion for developing and maintaining enterprise-level security architectures, we encourage you to apply. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information.
